This guide will help you better navigate through all of the resources that we have to offer!

Navigating the Research Center virtually

The Research Center at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY allows access to current CUNY Students, faculty and staff.

Valid CUNY ID and Cleared4 needed to enter. Masks are required. 

Current CUNY Students, faculty and staff are only permitted to use the Research Center. 

Certain resources are only for the J-School community.

Accessing E-Resources Remotely

Please use this A-Z link to access our databases off-campus.

Please use this full text search to access e-journals. 

J-School students, faculty and staff will use their CUNY ID to authenticate from off-campus.

For alumni and special patrons, please read this blog post for access information. 

Bloomberg Terminal Access

If you'd like to use the Bloomberg Terminal, we ask that you make an appointment before using the Bloomberg Terminal in the Research Center.  To make an appointment, please use the following link:

You will receive an email with your appointment details. 

If you no longer need the appointment, please cancel or reschedule. 

Please limit to one user at the terminal, and follow all health and safety protocols upon entering the Research Center.

Collection Access Restrictions

Our circulating collection is open to the current CUNY community.

For access to our Research Center, you will need a Valid CUNY ID and Cleared4 needed to enter. Masks are required.
