The second event will be the following week, Wednesday, April 17th, 2024 at 12:30pm. We will have the New York Public Library (NYPL) staff here to sign you up for NYPL library cards.
We've upgraded our Black Life in America and Hispanic Life in America subscriptions to include more coverage.
For Black Life in America: The content is sourced from more than 19,000 American and global news sources, including over 400 current and historical Black publications and presents the experience and impact of African Americans as recorded by the news media. Coverage is from 1878 to present.
For Hispanic Life in America: The content is sourced from more than 17,000 publications, including 700 Spanish-language newspapers and periodicals. Coverage is from 1943 to present.

Your first line of research help is your advanced research professor this semester. Reach out to them to schedule an appointment for research help. We will also have a research coach, Gabriel Sandoval, available on Tuesday and Friday from 6-8pm, in addition to Barbara Gray’s research hours, and your research instructors. You can check our Research Help Link to make research appointments, schedule time for secure logins, such as PACER or Property Shark, and schedule time on the Bloomberg Terminal.

If you don't have a subscription, this is to remind you that you have access through the Research Center.

OTHER THINGS OF NOTE!
We will be announcing events in the Research Center in the upcoming weeks. Here’s the first one: Let a friend know you love to learn with them by sending them a bibliogram! Recommend a book from our collection and they will come to the Research Center for a book checked out just for them. Just fill out this short form by 12 February 2024: Send a Bibliogram

We will be curating a collection of films, and providing them through Kanopy. Kanopy is a streaming media platform, we will have access most of the films available through this trial.
